Ingredients
1-Beetroot
2 tbsp Grated/Shredded coconut
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala
To temper
1 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard
1/4 tsp Split Urad dal
1 red chilies
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 spring Curry leaves
Preparation
Take steel cooker, add beetroot and water and put whistles and wait for 6 whistles to come and switch off the flame.
Take a pan and add one by one from the ‘To temper’ list and fry it till the the garlic raw smell goes away and add the cooked beetroot and fry for 2 minutes in medium flame, and then add turmeric, chilli powder , coriander powder and garam masala , mix them well till the raw smell of the masala goes away. Finally add the coconut and add mix them well and switch off the flame.
