Cumin Pepper Rasam




Ingredients

1/2 tsp - oil
1/4 tsp mustard
pinch of cumin seeds
pinch (~7-8) fenugreek seeds
1 spring curry leaves
3 Garlic cloves, medium size, crushed

pinch of turmeric
1 tbsp thick tamarind syrup
2 medium size tomato, boiled, smash it from your hand and squeeze the pulp out from the syrup.
1+1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp coriander leaves

Preparation

Take bowl, add the tamarind syrup, tomato syrup ,turmeric, water and salt,coriander leaves mix them well and keep the tomato and tamarind mixture aside.
Take Pan add oil, mustard, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and crushed garlic and wait for the aroma to come. Afterwards, add the rasam powder and fry for 5 seconds and then add the tomato and tamarind mixture. While it's boiling you start seeing the foam on the top, then switch off the flame. Don't allow it to be boiled.
