Pulihora paste (Tamarind rice paste)

Ingredients

1 big size lemon tamarind-  make thick syrup for 2 cups
2 tbsp - Coriander seeds
1 tbsp - groundnut
2 tbsp - channa dal, 1 tbsp for  seasoning and the other one for preparing powder
1 tsp- urdhal
1/2 tsp - fenugreek seeds
4 springs - curry leaves , 2 spring for seasoning and other 2 springs for preparing powder
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
10  dry chilies 
1 tbsp gingelly/sesame , 3 tbsp groundnut oil

Preparation

Take Pan , add coriander seeds , dry chilies, 1 tbsp channa dal, fenugreek seeds , and 2 springs of curry leaves and fry till the aroma comes. Grind the fired ingredients in the mixer and keep the powder aside.
Take Pan, add oil +dry chilies + curry leaves + urdhal + channa dal +  groundnut + tumeric powder and add the grinded powder mix it well. Then add the tamarind syrup and add salt and mix it well till the raw smell goes away.
