Ingredients
1/2 cup- Elephant Foot Yam pieces, Cut it into small pieces and cook it for one whistle.
3 tbsp Cowpeas -Cook it for three whistles.
3/4 tsp - Pepper Powder
2 No- Green Chilies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt
For Grinding
1/2 cup -Coconut
5 Nos - Shallots
1/4 Tsp -Cumin seeds
2 No - Garlic
For seasoning :-
1 tsp Coconut oil
1/2 cup -Grated Coconut
1 Tsp Mustard
2 No - Red Chilies
6-8 Nos - Shallots - cut into small pieces
1 spring curry leaves
Preparations
Use a mixer to grind everything on the "For Grinding" list, then pour the ground masala into a bowl.
Take a pan and boil the Elephant Foot Yam, Cowpeas, Green Chilies, Ground Masala, Turmeric, and Salt for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a skillet with the mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaves, and shallots (cook until golden) and add the grated coconut (fried until brown in colour) and add it to the Erissery.
