Ingredients
1 cup- Uradhal, Soak it for 1 hr
2 tsp rice/corn flour - it's for crispness
2 medium size onion, cut it very small size
2 inch ginger,cut it small size
2 green chili, cut it as small
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp pepper
1 spring curry leaves cut it small size
Oil for frying Vada
Preparation
Take a mixer, put the Uradhal and grind it smoothly by adding little water, transfer it into the bowl (if we add more water, we cannot get the shape).
In the same bowl add rice/corn flour,onion,ginger, green chili,cumin, pepper and curry leaves and mix them well. Dough is ready to make vada
Take Pan and add oil an keep it in medium flame
Wet your hands and take the dough, make a small ball and use your thumb to make a hole in the middle. once the oil is hot drop the vada inside gently. Fry the vada till it becomes golden and crispy on both sides.
