Pulihora(tamarind rice)



1/4 kilo cooked rice . it should not be overcooked and also it should not be hot
25 gram tamarind -big lemon size, prepare thick syrup and keep it aside
1/2 tsp - mustard
2 - dry chili
1 spring curry leaves
1/3 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp - gingelly oil
3/4 tsp salt

To Roast with oil - Roasted nuts

3/4 tbsp- bengal gram/kadala paruppu
1/4 tbsp - uradhal
3/4 tbsp- Peanuts
6.25 gram cashew nut
 
To Grind - fry without oil and grind

1/2 tbsp- bengal gram/kadala paruppu
1/4 tbsp - uradhal
1/2 tbsp - coriander seeds
1/4 tbsp- fenugreek seeds
6.25 gram - dry chili (approximatly 5 big size)


Preparation


Take Pan add oil , mustard ,dry chilies , curry leaves ,salt, turmeric and thick turmeric syrup and then close with lid and cook for 10 mins . Afterwards add grinder powder . Keep it aside for to get cool down

Add the roasted nuts and also add the pulihora mix into the rice. the pulihora is ready now.
