Ingredients
1 cup- Seeraga samba rice (Soak it for 30 min before starting the briyani, a glass without head)
1/4 kg mutton
10 medium size garlic
1 inch ginger
2 medium size onion
2 Nos chilies- lengthiest.
1 tomato small
coriander and pudina- each of them handful
3.5 tsp Briyani masala
4 cups of water - 3 cups for rice and 1 cup for mutton
2 tbsp curd
1 tsp each ,groundnut oil , coconut oil , ghee
1/2 small size lemon , - Don't add more, it will give sour taste
Preparation
In the cooker Add mutton +Salt+ 1 cup water and 1/2 tsp turmeric , and wait for the mutton to be cooked (18 mins) . Once the pressure released, keep the mutton aside. - 2
Take the cooker, add oils and ghee + add onion (fry it until roasted) + Chilli + ginger garlic paste + tomato + briyani masala + coriander + pudina + curd + salt add mutton and fry for five minutes and then add 3 cups of water . once it's boiled and add the rice now. Close the lid and don't lock the cooker . Wait for the rice to be seen on the top with water a bit and then add the lemon, and lock the cooker and put whistles , keep the flame in the sim and wait for 7 minutes then put the flame off.
Wait for the pressure to be released, mix the rice and close the lid of the cooker.
Cooking Mutton: 250 ml water for 1/2 kg mutton
if you add 1 cup rice extra , then add the biryani masala also
if you add 1/4 kg mutton extra , then add the biryani masala also
