Sweet Ragi Kozhukattai

 Ingredients


1 cup ragi
1 cup Poha, Using the pulsar mode on the mixer, crush it.
1 cup jaggery +1/4 water for melting
pinch of cardamom
warm water as required
1/4 cup coconut
1 tsp ghee
pinch of salt.


Preparation

Take a pan, add water and jaggery, and boil the mixture over a medium flame until the jaggery melts. After removing the contaminants with the sieve, set it aside.

Take a bowl and combine the ingredients: ragi, poha, jaggery syrup, cardamom, coconut, and ghee.

After that, check the consistency and add water as needed until the dough is ready.

The dough should be divided into equal balls, shaped into oblong cylinders using your fingertip impression, and kept ready.

Place them in an idli steamer, and cook it for 15 minutes over a medium temperature.
