Ingredients
8 Nos - Ladies finger / Vendakkai, cut it into 1 inch size
25 Shallots
15 Medium Garlic
2 Medium size Tomato - grind it till smooth paste
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1+1/2 tsp kuzhmbu masala
3 Tbsp - Tamarind thick Syrup
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp Coriander leaves, optional
1 tbsp gingelly oil
1/4 tsp mustard
pinch of fenugreek
1 spring curry leaves
1tsp Salt
Preparation
Take pan + oil + Vendaikkai and salt and fry until the sticky goes away
Take pan add oil, mustard, fenugreek, curry leaves and add shallots and garlic and fry for few minutes . Add kuzhambu masala and tomato and fry till the water goes away, which means the raw smell of the tomato goes away. Add water , salt and close the lid and then wait for 5mins. Finally add coriander leaves.
