Red Beans/Kidney Beans masala (Rajma)


Ingredients

1/4 cup Red Beans/Kidney Beans (Rajma)
2 tsp - oil
1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
2 medium size Onion , the puree, grind it from mixer
2 Nos - green chili
2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
3 medium size tomato, the  puree , grind it from mixer
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1+1/2 tsp- Coriander powder
1 tsp- Chili powder
1 tsp - Garam masala powder
1/4 tsp  - Roasted cumin powder
1.5 Cup  - water
1/4 tsp- Jaggery
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
1-1/2 tsp - Salt


Preparation

In the cooker  Add Red beans+Salt+ 1 cup  water , wait for 8 whistle to come, and check the beans is cooked well.

Take pan , add oil + cumin seeds + ginger garlic paste and wait for  the aroma to come. then add onion (fry it until it's roasted) + green chili +  turmeric + coriander powder+ chili powder + cumin powder , mix it well for 4 minutes+ tomato (fry it until raw smells goes away) + add  water and mix it  well and wait for the water to be boiled. Take  ~20 to 25  cooked beans and smash it and then add it to the pan and also add the remaining cooked beans with it. Add the boiled beans water and mix them well and wait for 3 minutes again. Add garam masala powder  and also add one green chili and mix it,  and put the flame in the sim for 5 mins. Finally add the jaggery and add  the coriander leaves.
