Ingredients
1/2 cup channa
2 tsp - oil
2 Nos - 2 inch (thick) Cinnamon
1 No - green cardamom
2 Nos - Cloves
1 No - Bay leaf
1 medium size Onion
2 Nos - green chili
2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
2 medium size tomato, the puree , grind it from mixer
1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
1-1/2 tsp- Coriander powder
1 tsp- Chili powder
2 tsp - Channa masala powder
1/4 tsp - Roasted cumin powder
2 cubes - butter
1 Cup and 1 tbsp - water
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
1-1/2 tsp - Salt
Preparation
In the cooker Add Channa +Salt+ 1 cup water and wait for 6 whistles to come and check channa is cooked well.
Take pan , add oil + cinnamon+ green cardamom+ cloves + bay leaf and wait for the aroma to come, and then add onion (fry it until it's roasted) + green chili + ginger garlic paste + tomato (fry it until the raw smells goes away) + turmeric + coriander powder + add 1 tbsp water and mix it and wait for 2 mins + take ~ 20 to 25 cooked channa and smash it and then add it to the pan and also add the remaining cooked channa with it. Add the boiled channa water and mix it well and wait for 3 minutes. Add channa masala powder and then add the cumin powder and mix it and put the flame in the sim for 5 mins. Finally add the butter and add the coriander leaves.
