Ginger Pepper Rasam

 Ingredients


1/2 tsp - oil
1/4 tsp mustard
pinch (~7-8) fenugreek seeds
3 Garlic pods, medium size, crushed
3/4 inch Ginger , medium size, crushed
4 shallots - Crushed
1 dry chili
1 spring curry leaves
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/3 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp Pepper , crushed
1 Tomato
pinch of turmeric
1 tbsp thick tamarind syrup
2 medium size tomato, boiled, smash it from your hand and squeeze the pulp out from the syrup.
1+1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp coriander leaves

Preparation


Take Pan add oil, mustard, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and crushed garlic , shallots and wait for the aroma to come. Afterwards, add the coriander  powder, chili powders , turmeric powder and  crushed pepper and mix it well for 1 mins and then add the tomato, salt and tamarind syrup and add water. Boil it for 5 mins and then add the coriander leaves..
